ANK : Chemicals was established in 2001. Initially trading and import of chemicals was the main business activity.

In 2003 manufacturing of chemicals was started. The production of agro-based fertilizers started in 2003 on trial basis, the main product was zinc sulphate crystal and liquid.

Then in 2005 production of Hydrated Lime was started. In 2006 Ferrous sulphate and a number of chemicals on small scale production was started.
